My First time in StillLife studio.

I call this the fruit photo shoot.
The stylists idea was to combine the colors of the fruits and vegetables with garments or accessories. I helped her on setting the layout to get the best result on the photograph.

Camera I use

The quality of the image is depending on photographers skill with the camera ''Be in control of your camera''.These days the companies are producing lots of new thec camera that almost can do any thing. I'm a Nikon user and I'm using Nikon D2X (5yr old), I'm really happy with it. I think its just what I need, no more no less just D2X, since 80% of my work is in studio I don't need a camera that can do every thing for me. So far D2X gets the job done.

For those who will ask ''why don't you use film camera?'' cuz I cant just bother chancing films in the middle of photo shoot

Another day in studio

Model: Su Karaman (she has nice hair)

As a student I like to learn through experimenting.
In my school the students are allowed to book studios for free and use some amazing equipment with out paying anything for example large format film cameras, almost all the Nikon and Canon D-SLR cameras, many different flashes and flash heads etc, etc.

This photo came from the day that I wanted to experiment on back drops and flashes. There was no topic, theme, stylist, hair & make-up artist, I just wanted to take photos and see how they come up.

Modelling is not as easy as it looks, the model has to know how to act or how to change his or her mood, some times the model has to stay in a uncomfortable position. For photographers models are just an object in-front of the camera, this doesn't change the fact that the model is still a human. So try to make them feel comfortable. How ? take little breaks on the photo shoot when model has to be in a complicated positions, or have a blanket or two if its a bikini shoot in studio, to keep model warm.

When you are choosing the model, you need to tell: what he/she will be wearing, where the shoot will be, what she will be doing. If he/she agree with the terms, confirm the time and date.
